About the job
We are looking for a 1:1 aide to attend school with our son. He is 8 years old, autistic, and non speaking. He communicates mostly with an AAC device. He will be attending school in Franklin, Monday thru Thursday from 9-3. He is a great kid. Easy going. Full of life and joy. Our ideal candidate needs to have experience working with additional needs children. Also, ideally has experience with occupational therapy Or other relevant therapies Mostly we're looking for someone to be in classroom with our son and help him throughout the day. The school is Montessori based and very open, so it won't just be sitting at a desk with schoolwork all day. Happy to elaborate more with the right candidate.
