About the job
I am looking for someone to help care for my 6-year-old son with cerebral palsy while I am at work. He is a super happy and easy going little guy! He loves to watch Disney movies, go on walks, and be read to! He does have a feeding tube (it's okay if you haven't used one before as long as you're willing to learn; it sounds intimidating but it's super easy and I provide follow along video guides along with training before hand). Mentally he is all the way there and fully understands what's going on, however he is nonverbal and needs extra help with movement (getting into a sitting position, getting into his different chairs, and getting into his walker). So you must be able to lift 50 lbs. Sometimes you may also have his 7-year-old neurotypical step sister (with a pay bump while she's there) , she's super sweet and loves to play dolls and do crafts!
