About the job
Full-time caregiver/s between dates of June 14-July 6 and July 28-Aug 4, approximately 8am-4 p.m. Monday-Friday. Weekend and evening hours sometimes needed as well and into the fall. This is a 1:1 habilitation aid funded through the community living waiver. Multiple people may be hired to fill all of the hours. Located in Upper Saint Clair, must have own vehicle. Our son has a rare genetic disorder which causes autism, epilepsy, physical disability and his other symptoms. Candidates must have ample experience working with children with autism. Ideal for speech, occupational, physical therapy students or special ed teachers or ABA therapists. Care would be for our son during the day while mom works from home, including some community outings. Our child is semi-mobile and does require physical assistance for activities of daily living.
