About the job
We are looking for a sitter / caregiver for our 12yr old daughter with special needs. She is (often) in her wheelchair and just loves to have someone to sing with her, read her stories, play blocks, etc. She is a happy, smiling and engaging little girl who is nonverbal and non-ambulatory with developmental delays. She loves to play with her toys, read books and anything with music! We are looking for a caring, capable and compassionate person who is comfortable working with special needs children and interested in developmental play and OK with lifting (her weight is 53#) and diaper care. Hours and days vary and can be flexible! PLEASE NOTE: We are looking for professional, committed caregivers for a long term.
