About the job
We are looking for an afterschool support person for a 4th grader in Rock Creek. You will ideally be someone who has a zest for life and either experience in or a willingness to learn about how to support an awesome kid who lives with muscular dystrophy. You will need to be able to support transfers from a wheelchair and assist with daily and occasional medical needs, help out with homework and encourage our daughter to do her daily chores while creating time for fun too! We will happily train the right person and are looking for someone who will commit through the end of the school year or longer! More hours are available in the summer! This is a fun job and one that is very rewarding. Good for aspiring nurses, students and those at any point in their career where you are seeking ways to make a truly positive impact on a family.
