Looking for a long term caregiver for our 12-year-old son. He is a sweet and happy child who has Angelman Syndrome. The ideal candidate will have special needs experience and be willing to work with him on his motor skills and enforcing/ encouraging alternative communication as he is non-verbal. He splits his days evenly between coparents. The care will be provided at the father's apartment as it is the school bus stop. Daily work would include arriving before the school bus for snack prep, afternoon activities such as park/playground walking trips, splash pad, help with homework and motor skill development, reading, arts, etc. He will need assistance in the bathroom, and some minor assistance with mobility (stability on stairs, keeping him safe on the sidewalk).
