About the job
We're looking for an afterschool caregiver with special needs experience for our funny, bright, sensitive 11-year-old son. He has ADHD and anxiety, and struggles with flexibility and irritability. You would pick him up from school at 3:15 p.m. , maybe go on a playdate, to the park, or hang out and chat (he loves to narrate imaginary adventures) and then head home Once home, you'll support him with his homework (he often needs some encouragement). On Thursdays, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. , we'd love for you to transition to supporting our 13-year-old son with his homework. He needs help with time management, organization, and strategies to tackle his work. So experience in helping build executive function skills are a plus, but patience, warmth, & comfort with a bit of chaos are essential! Thank you!
