About the job
We are in search of care for our son with IDD & autism. This position is for any (or all) of the following: 1) After school care (2:15-5:15ish) 2) Summer care (up to 40 hours per week) 3) optional household assistance (while our son is in school). Our son is a happy teen who has limited verbal abilities and needs assistance with supervision, transportation, safety, daily living and personal care. Because of this, we highly prefer persons who are experienced with high needs teens in a para setting (setting 3 or 4). We are on the county waivers program, so all hours spent with our son will be paid through the county, at $27-30/hour based on experience in a para role.
