About the job
Looking for a part-time caregiver for my 25 YO daughter with intellectual disabilities, Autism, Seizure Disorder. Hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Candidates MUST have some experience with individuals on the autism spectrum. Must be CPR and First Aid certified, have your own transportation and a clean driving record. Must also be comfortable around a cat. My is on the spectrum, but very verbal and social. She participates in sports, social activities in her apartment complex and a variety of community-based activities. She needs structure, engagement and someone who will help me manage her diet. Candidates must be an upbeat and highly interactive person focused on helping her develop her sense of independence and accomplishment. Pay starts at $34/hour. Driving is reimbursed at the going government rate.
