We are searching for a full-time 1:1 aid for a 7yo child with special needs in Ellicott City, MD with a start date as soon as possible. Hours would be about 40hr/wk. This is a long-term position, W2 salaried full time position with vacation offering, sick days, and professional pay. The position requires transportation of our son to and from therapies, social events, and extracurriculars, so safe reliable transportation and clean driving record are a must. Beyond childcare, the scope of the contract will include implementation of therapy and IEP goals, potty training support, supporting child development through play, adherence to our son's behavior plan, feeding assistance, bathing, and communication assistance with alternative device. Help with son's laundry (folding and putting away), adaptations around the house, modifying toys, etc.
