Job Description: Give in home and in the community support to a young adult individual with intellectual disabilities. Duties & Responsibility: Provide varying degrees of instruction tailored to the needs of the client. Applying principles of ABA and My way throughout instruction/ teaching ( we will provide training) Implements teaching strategies including but not limited to: Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT), Task Analysis (TA), Incidental Teaching (IT), and Behavior Skills Training (BST) (We will provide training). Support/ accompany client during outings in the community, recreational activities, doctor appointments etc. Skills, competencies/ Characteristics Desired: Ability to lift at least 50 pounds when necessary. At least one (1) year of experience in managing severe behaviors. Requirements: Valid U. S. work authorization.
