Looking for a companion/caregiver for our 29-year-old daughter with cerebral palsy. Our immediate need is for Saturday's and every other Sunday morning, but we are happy to speak to those with varying availability for other opportunities as well. She is smart, caring and laughs a lot! She is quadriplegic and non-speaking, and yet she's bright with normal cognition. She drives a motorized wheelchair with her head and speaks through a computer but is unable to move for basic personal care needs. She needs help with tasks like dressing, feeding, bathing, toileting, fixing her hair, etc. Although special needs experience is not required, it's a plus. Mostly, you need a willingness to work with someone who needs a lot of physical assistance. I'd love to speak with you further and share more about our job and our daughter - you'll love her!
