Personal Care: - Empty bedside urine drainage bag using a handheld urinal. - Assist with personal hygiene, including sponge bath, peri-care and grooming. - Assist with dressing and undressing. - Assist with putting on and taking off arm and leg braces. - Assist with mobility, including transferring from bed to power wheelchair and power wheelchair to bed using a manual Hoyer Lift with a sling. - Assist with putting a harness on, which helps prevent falling due to balance issues, once up and in the power wheelchair. - Assist with cleaning up accidents due to bladder and/or bowel incontinence. - Familiarity with moving and positioning using a draw sheet because it is an extremely useful skill that helps prevent bed sores and skin breakdown.
