About the job
We are looking for someone to watch our 12yo son on Sundays (with possible occasional time on Sat/other days). He is sweet, with a beautiful soul & some significant behavioral challenges. He has a genetic disorder (KCNQ2) that significantly inhibits his learning & development, as well as a diagnosis of autism & ADHD. He is nonverbal and partially potty trained and loves to jump and play and listen to music. We are looking for someone to play with him and keep him safe while we do things around the house or go places together or spend time with our teenage daughter. Rate is negotiable - based on experience and fit. Ideal match has some training and/or experience with kids with nonverbal autism (e. g., RBT training) and comfort with the behavioral challenges that can come with these (in our son's case, pinching and throwing).
