About the job
I need help at the end of the day to go to the bathroom for the last time in the day, and to get into bed. I cannot move much of my body independently, nor can I hold any weight with my arms or legs. I also do not, and cannot, use a hoyer lift. We do have a commode/shower chair that is also used as a transfer chair from my bedroom to my bathroom, so the transfer is just a lift, pivot, and position. I also need help on the weekends to get out of bed, go to the bathroom, shower, get dressed, and get into my wheelchair in the mornings. Then, in the afternoon, I require another bathroom break before potentially going into my standing apparatus, swimming, stretching, etc. with one more bathroom visit before leaving.
