Looking for a part time caregiver for our young adult family members with Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Cognitive Disabilities, in Orangevale. Our daughter, age 23 and son, age 25 will be moving to homes with roommates and each need someone to assist them in learning independent living skills. Prefer someone with patience and experience working with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Job will include teaching client independent living skills and charting progress towards goals, planning and taking client out to activities in the community, helping with grocery shopping and errands as well as assisting client in learning skills needed to live with roommates.
