About the job
We are looking for a part-time special needs caretaker (preferably RBT Registered Behavior Therapist or interested in getting this certification) for our 15-year-old son with Autism starting in July for weekends and also to fill in on mornings, evenings, etc. Saturday 9-5 Sunday 9-5 Monday 1:45- 6 school pick up Experience with Autism would be excellent but not required. We are looking for someone who is open to taking our son into the community to exercise, swim, go to parks, restaurants and other activities. Additionally to help him with projects at home such as learning to make food and other educational activities. Some light housework during down time, but most of the time will be spent on helping our son and is motivated to help him to advance his skills in many areas while enjoying the community. If you do don't have an RBT certification our ABA therapist is willing to train you on the job. Please contact me if you are interested in learning more.
