-Seeking a support person for a 24-year-old autistic adult male. Explores the world through touch and sound, although he can speak he also points to letters to spell words to communicate, writes poetry and songs, and is an experienced self advocate. Needs additional support in his family's home with mealtimes, personal hygiene, administering of medications, going out to exercise, and socialise. Someone who works well with others, has good communication skills, presumes competence, and is proactive. - The ideal candidate for the job would be someone with exceptional patience, kindness, a creative approach to learning, and values humour. - Interest in body regulation, Neuro muscular therapy, Occupational therapy, Psychology, communications, music, inclusion, and developing community. Will train to support spelling to communicate.
