About the job
We need a backup person for our team, someone who can cover occasional date nights, weekends, short notice if someone else calls in sick, schedule gaps, flight delays, etc. We'd like you to have a regularly scheduled time once a week, just for an hour or two, to hang out with our bright, sweet, affectionate, communicative, active, autistic 10-year-old son so that he's used to seeing you and you form a bond, that way if we need to call you in you're familiar and he's used to seeing you. I do a fair amount of traveling so there could be flight delays or something similar, and we have a teacher and two caregivers. Of anyone is out sick or one of us ( his parents) gets called away, we need someone who can be available on short notice. We want to make sure all our bases are covered.
