I am learning the advantages of being a humble enough parent to see where I am needing help :) When I try to get my daughter to do simple chores or hygiene it turns into tears for both of us. I am curious to see if the right help would be able to help restore our relationship and provide her the skills to succeed in life. She currently is participating in a play that rehearses on Saturday mornings, it ends in February. So, until then we could meet Saturday afternoon, or she has Fridays available. But ideally, we would like to do Saturday mornings starting in March. We have her take care of her animals, 1 dog, 2 ducks and 2 lizards, wash and fold her laundry, change her sheets and declutter her room. I would even be glad to sponsor a fun activity to finish the day with. She responds well to rewards.
