About the job
D. is 20, has Autism, and is an awesome person to know. We would like someone to come hang out with him two afternoons a week while parent works from home. Days are flexible but Tuesdays and Thursdays are preferred. D. loves to run errands and hang at home, is very active, loves volunteering in gardens/outdoors, and loves new friends. Additional needs may include pick up/drop off to activities, going to the gym (and get a workout beside him!) snacks and D's meal prep. Having a reliable car to attend community/group activities and being comfortable with our sweet, old, bossy dog is important. Family will provide training in all of D's needs and programs. Diagnosis: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Integration Disorder, minimal verbal communication, other communication methods (AAC, AT). D has Epileptic seizures about twice a year.
