About the job
We are looking for someone who is trustworthy, has a real heart for people with disability, and would treat others the way they would want them, or their loved ones be treated. Ideally, we want someone with experience relating to someone with intellectual disability. A compassionate person, patient, and understanding. My sister has intellectual disability, and a high-functioning autistic. English is not her first language, but she can understand a lot more than she can speak. She is a visual learner and very observant. She loves music and spends all her free time on her phone playing music. We keep her busy and involved when doing things around the house. She is very social, but at home she likes to be left alone when she's listening to her music. Parking is available. There's also a bus stop a block away. No pets
