About the job
Hello!!! Looking for someone to fill a regular role with our family weekly. My son G. is 12yrs old with Autism (verbal, high functioning). G. is always ok with engaging in activities after school like jumping at the trampoline park, swimming at the YMCA, crafts, playing with the animals or just taking a shower and watching his cartoons. As we are blessed that he is verbal we constantly work with him daily on his tone of voice and aggression which is normally expressed with him hitting his hands on surfaces not people. He is easily directed and always willing to correct the behavior when asked. I am a single mom of two and a full time nurse. My schedule is for 12 hour shifts about 25min away from the house. I will need coverage on Monday and Tuesday of one week and Thursday and Friday the next week. He additionally has several half days scheduled monthly if you'd like to extend or adjust the hours for additional pay. Our home contains pets! We have an elderly cat that sleeps all day long and two active puppies that are about a year old, crate trained and a big fenced in back yard. We are a kid and pet friendly household so if you ever need to bring the critters or the family , all are welcome!
