About the job
We are looking for a female roommate to help care for our 26-year-old developmentally delayed daughter who has a seizure disorder. She is very high functioning. Takes care of her own personal hygiene and does her own laundry. She needs help with meals and going to activities. It's a part-time, live-in role with a salary, free rent and use of a car for our daughter's needs. Some meals are included. 3 days on 4 days off. Days do not have to be consecutive. Flexible schedule. All major holidays off. We have a girl doing this job who has been working for us for a year. She takes the other 4 days. Our set up works best with 2 girls splitting the time so they have time for college and other things. It also makes for a fun environment for our daughter who is very social and loves having roommates and not living with her parents.
