We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate part-time caregiver to assist a 25-year-old young adult male with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental & cognitive delays. The ideal candidate will be patient, firm yet caring, & able to provide consistent, compassionate support to help him achieve personal development goals & daily routines. Your primary duties will include - Helping the client with daily life skills, including dressing, hygiene, & grooming - Assisting with meal preparation, providing snacks, & ensuring he has access to drinks throughout the day - Encouraging & guiding him through assembly work & monitoring his leisure activities - Ensuring he takes his prescribed oral medication on time - Providing consistent, positive reinforcement to motivate him and maintain structure. - Be patient, assertive, confident, calm, & positive
