About the job
Looking for a caregiver for my young adult son in our home. He is IDD (Intellectually, Developmentally Disabled) and has epilepsy. He is also sarcastic, funny, loves Disney, video games and musicals. The pay is $10. 50 an hour through the state-run CLASS program. Since this is a state funded job the legal requirements are: Must be a US citizen, 18 years of age, High school diploma or GED, Able to pass a criminal background check CPR Certified - Hands on class, not online. (This is not a requirement to apply, but must be taken before starting the job.) Caregiver needs to be punctual, reliable, self-motivated, friendly, easy-going, non-smoker and comfortable with people loving doodle. This is a great job for a college student as there is plenty of time to study or read.
