About the job
Our son is 9 y/o and autistic (without intellectual disability, Type 1) and ADHD and needs a safe, calm, enthusiastic, encouraging caregiver to be a cheerful playmate and to help him regulate his nervous system if he becomes anxious. Our family values include: inclusion, celebration of uniqueness, encouraging everyone to be their authentic selves, valuing all people, and actively learning about others and ourselves. He is talented in videography, gaming, and the history of cinema/cartoons/character creation. Our son needs a calm, fun, enthusiastic playmate who encourages him in his special interests. He needs a caregiver who actively engages him unless he asks for time, and who will give him their attention and presence. We offer driveway parking. We have a puppy that is a Bichon Frisée (small, white, curly dog) who is very sweet.
