About the job
Looking for a part-time caregiver for my sister. She has autism and ADHD, but she also deals with selective mutism, ARFID, hypersensitivity to her senses, mobility challenges due to muscle atrophy, and other issues. She needs help with cleaning her space, prompting/assistance with daily self-care tasks (shaving, brushing teeth, hair care, etc), bathing, and companionship (due to her sensory challenges, I am the only person she sees regularly). I would also love help getting her more active! Her last caregiver was a transman, which was great; however, Iris would now like to work with someone who is femme (cis or trans). We are also looking for someone who is queer, has experience caring for trans people, or who is a fierce LGBTQIA+ ally. Her interests: Magic the Gathering, the Owl House, purple, pine cones, and stim toys.
