About the job
George is 24 years old, high-functioning autistic and communicates verbally, though not extensively. While he's generally easygoing, responsible and reliable care is essential to ensure his well-being and safety. This would involve a few hours on several days per month and would include collecting George from his local day program. The specific days and times are flexible and open to discussion. My hope is to establish a relationship with a caregiver we trust, so that I can confidently arrange for care while I take occasional vacations as well. Responsibilities would primarily involve meal preparation and serving, ensuring George's safety, and engaging in activities he enjoys, such as walks and hikes in our local parks. He also enjoys quiet time, often relaxing in his beanbag chair and watching movies on his iPad.
