About the job
I'm looking for someone to watch my 12-year-old son. Last year he had a medical event that resulted in a brain injury. Physically he has recovered and walks just fine. However, he is now nonverbal and does behaviors similar to an autistic child. He occasionally has a short absence seizure where he stares for a few seconds and then returns to normal. The day would consist of mostly walking around with him. He will need assistance with meals. He will need assistance on the toilet. He wears a pull-up just in case, but with toileting every 2 hours or so, he's mostly continent. He is a very sweet boy. I need someone to watch him as early as this weekend. It is a long day since I work 12 hour shifts and need time to commute, but please contact even if you can only to a partial shift.
