About the job
We are looking for someone who can become a Habilitation Trainer for a 14 y/o autistic (+ intellectually disabled) son. The job includes teaching daily living skills from basic hygiene to putting away laundry. We want someone to help keep him moving and entertained, engaged in activities he enjoys. The pay will come through the state of Oklahoma under DDS services. We are offering $18 an hour for a qualified person. About 20 hours a week are available. These hours would mostly be on weekends as indicated. There is significant onboarding paperwork to get set up with the state payroll system, Acumen. We are told this can take as much as 2 months, but a person who is on top of their email and able to fill out tax related paperwork could probably shorten this timeframe considerably (possibly as quick as 2 weeks?).
