Seeking dedicated part-time support (3-5 days/week, 4 hours/day) to provide in-home assistance for a young adult who is a stroke survivor. The role involves elements of caregiving along with participation in daily therapy activities: -Perform transfers to/from wheelchair throughout day -Assist with meal preparation and feeding -Promote and guide self-care activities -Provide encouragement and assistance with in-home OT/PT sessions -Incorporate daily activities to enhance focus and relaxation -Explore techniques to amplify creativity, humor, and fun The family is seeking someone who is physically strong, positive and encouraging, knowledgeable of neurological recovery, and interested in a longer-term opportunity.
