I AM ONLY SEEKING SOMEONE WHO IS CERTIFIED THROUGH THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AS AN INDEPENDENT PROVIDER AND IS ABLE TO PROVIDE HOMEMAKER/PERSONAL CARE SERVICES AND TRANSPORTATION.*** I am seeking care for my 25-year-old son, Bobby. He has Duchenne muscular dystrophy and needs total care assistance. Bobby is shy, but once he is comfortable, he enjoys talking about sports, making crafts, and finding and trying out new cooking recipes. Preference for someone who has experience with skilled care such as using a cough assist and suctioning, bipap machine, and hoyer lift. Bobby requires someone who is gentle and caring, willing to engage him in activities at home and in the community, and knowledgeable in caring for someone who uses a wheelchair and is immobile.
