We are looking for responsible individuals with a passion for helping others reach their full potential! Our professional support team assists young adults with autism in their homes & communities. This includes promoting independent living skills, increasing social and functional communication, building healthy habits, and finding happiness in every day life. General job descriptions outlined below!
Right now, we have openings for a variety of positions
OVERNIGHTS:
Support with any before bed routines and monitoring periodically throughout the night - sleeping during these shifts is encouraged! Depending on the client, two-hour checks may be necessary, or listening for when the individual wakes up. If they are awake, you must be awake too. In the mornings, you may be responsible for administering any medications (pills) and provide support with morning shift routines.
WEEKDAY AFTERNOONS:
Support with afternoon activities such as: trips to the salon, massages, music therapy, out to eat, running errands, relaxing at home, leisure activities in the community (Candle Lab, the zoo, park, etc.). Assisting with light chores such as: daily laundry, loading the dishwasher, picking up various grocery items, etc. The evenings include helping with meal prep and nighttime hygiene routines (brushing teeth, skincare, etc.).
WEEKENDS:
Support with any weekend leisure activities such as: salon visits, errands, going out for lunch/dinner, activities in the community, etc. Light chores that might be needed like changing bed sheets, grocery shopping, etc. Overall the weekend shifts are less structured and more leisure-driven.
*We are looking for part-time and full-time interest. Full-time employees are offered benefits. All pre-employment training and ongoing training is paid for, and compensated for time spent.
