We need a companion/caregiver to provide support for my sister in her 20s with a mental illness who lives in an apartment in Harlem. The schedule would be 7am-noon six days/week. During the time you would be together, you would be a listening ear and supporting a routine my loved one has crafted such as breakfast and medication prompting, meditation, walking in together, a little tidying & taking care of the litter box, and planning the remainder of the day among other things with my loved one. We might ask you to run errands now & then with my loved one if she wants to - as long as the errands are not so far away as to be hard be back end of the shift. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with a really cute affectionate cat, CPR / first-aid trained, and is either a CNA or LPN.
