Seeking A Direct Support Professional For Young Adult With Autism In East Syracuse

We are looking to hire a Direct Support Professional for our 22-year-old son with Autism . Goal is to help provide him with the opportunity to access his community, help him build on life's skills, both in and outside the home, while encouraging independence and establishing self-confidence. Pay is $24/hour and up to 20 hrs./week. Days/hours are flexible with goal to establish a schedule that works for everyone. He is taking one class on Tuesdays and Thursdays so we would primarily be seeking Mon, Wed, Friday hours through December and then schedule could change. Must have HS diploma or GED. Must have clean driving record, valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must complete and pass background check.
