Needed Special Needs Caregiver In Bronx

Looking for a part-time caregiver for our adult family member with moderate Autism Spectrum Disorder & Intellectual Disabilities in the Riverdale section of the Bronx. Ideally our candidate is college educated, experienced with special needs, responsible, mature, and loves the field. Mother supervises this Self-Directed home program, is a licensed mental health professional and is a source of great knowledge about the field. The worker will help this participant gain life skills across the domains of socialization, pre-vocational work, domestic tasks, community inclusion, self-care and fitness. This participant is a wonderful person who loves music, loves people, loves to laugh and is very appreciative of his helpers.
