About the job
Seeking caregiver for a 33-year-old young adult with cerebral palsy who uses a motorized wheelchair for mobility. He is a kind, fun-loving, social person who has asked for someone to hang out with him during the day - both to help my mom and to provide him with activities such as playing with his iPad, doing arts and crafts, occasional physical/occupational therapy if the person is qualified, watching movies, going for strolls, etc. He currently attends a day program 5 times a week in West Orange. Metro access provides his transportation to and from the program. Assistance also with changing and showering him are also a plus. He has a lift installed in his bedroom that is used to transport him from the bed into his chair. The hours and days of week can be negotiated depending on availability.
