About the job
We are in search of care for our adventurous 19-year-old son with autism. This position has flexible hours for afterschool, summer & holidays. He is a happy teen who has limited verbal abilities and needs assistance with supervision, transportation, & safety. While mostly independent at home and just needs minimal care, he also loves to take outings into the community and needs some one willing to be his "adventure friend" and community caregiver. We are on the county waivers program, so payroll is managed through the county and we are able to offer a rate of $23-30/hour based on experience. We are a kind and welcoming home looking for kind and skilled professionals. We would be happy to find caregivers who work just once a week up to several days.
