I am looking for a live-in caregiver to provide custodial care (bathing, dressing, cooking, etc) and companion care for a 21-year-old wheelchair-bound, disabled woman. The position offers a competitive salary. The caregiver(s) would reside in a spacious 6-bedroom, 6-bathroom home with access to a pool, and room and board would be included as part of the compensation package. The home is equipped with a wheelchair-accessible van, so a valid driver's license is required. The primary responsibilities involve custodial care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), as well as providing companion care. The only skilled care required involves intermittent catheterization and managing the Peristeen bowel program, for which appropriate training will be provided.
