About the job
We are looking for an outgoing PCA for our 26-year-old autistic son. He is kind, verbal, mobile and loves being out in the community. He likes action movies, video games, bowling, bike riding, coffee shops, cleaning up the city and lots of other things. He needs help planning his days, making easy meals, practicing his money, time and math skills and, of course, to drive him around! He has two jobs so most of the hours would be in the afternoons/early evenings. He moved in to his first supported living apartment and is doing great but is looking to expand his friendships and skills. We cover all expenses for activities and outings. We pay through agency so you'd need to fill out their application and pass a background check but can do that quickly. The hours can be flexible and would be about 20 hours a week.
