About the job
My daughter is nonverbal and we are looking for someone who would be W2 paid weekly from the state to teach her basic living skills like brushing teeth, making snacks, prompting to communicate. Can work around some of the days so there is time off, but we have some weekend commitments. Patience, dependability and understanding are th e main characteristics needed. We can accommodate 40 hours if needed. We are pretty laid back. We expect people to to be honest, dependable, and responsible, working with special needs individuals can be a real blessing. If you think that you can work and learn from someone who has special needs then this is the job for you. K is 16yo and attends school. She has the mind of a child. But she can be fun and easy going. If some has ABA experience, it would be nice but not required. Parking at house and access to transit We have 3 Great Danes.
