About the job
Looking for a part-time after-school aide for our 17-year-old who is in a power wheelchair. No experience necessary! He's a smart and independent kid who just needs help with some of the daily physical things in life, like driving, getting out his laptop to do homework, getting set up to play video games, and making a snack. Most of the time the aide will be able to hang out with their own laptop/tablet/phone or watch whatever they want on the big TV (with access to our streaming services). Plenty of time to do your own work/homework, too. Ideal candidate has clean driving record and is comfortable driving a minivan-sized vehicle for short trips around town. If possible, there would be one shift a week that would be 2pm-9/10pm, but which night that is can be determined by the right candidate and even changed as needed.
