Duties & Responsibility: Transport to local community (stores, library, etc.). Help with socialization and appropriate behavior in the community through established preferred routines including; going for walks, shopping, bowling, paint and party, etc.. Support with safety awareness in the community. Apply creative approaches to managing social interactions. Implement a behavior plan. Skills, competencies/ Characteristics Desired: Have strong clear English communication skills. Respectful of client's need for patience and repetition when learning new skills. Lived experience or willing to work with an individual with behavior issues. Can create safe, respectful, and positive environment. Prior experience in education or working with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred. Requirements: Reliable transportation & cell phone
