The dates and time for this job posting are not accurate - but the job I am posting is this : I have a 24-year-old. Daughter who has a dual diagnosis of Down syndrome and autism. She is nonverbal. She is very good natured and sweet, but due to her autism diagnosis, she can get anxious and overstimulated and occasionally need some help to de-escalate situations that become overwhelming for her. I am looking for somebody that is interested in doing occasional overnight and days (a long weekend or one whole week ) for us. I do not have a consistent schedule, but I am hoping to find somebody that can connect with her and we can hire here and there throughout the year so that my husband and I can vacation or have some respite. if this sounds like something that would interest you please reach out.
