About the job
22-year-old Chloe has profound mental retardation, autism, incontinence, seizure disorder, and visual impairment. She is nonverbal but screams loudly and frequently (we often wear ear protection). She has incredibly specific routines in our house that involve bathing, eating, playing, and diaper changes. She cycles compulsively through these routines and can be happy during them. Often, though, she becomes discontent for unknown reasons, requiring "time outs" in her room. At best, your shift will be sedentary and uneventful; possibly you will have no interaction at all if Chloe is playing contentedly by herself. At worst, you will have a loud and frustrating shift. We seek 3 days per week. 4-hour shifts. Security cameras inside house, viewed in real-time by Mom and Dad for Chloe's safety.
