About the job
I'm looking for care in my home for my 24-year-old daughter with intellectual disabilities. This is a long term position for the right person. I prefer someone with experience working with kiddos with special needs. Her diagnosis are epilepsy and psychosis disorder. Responsibilities include; working with her on a day to day basis. Teaching like skills, communication and teaching her to help regulate her moods. She is physically able to do things by herself just needs prompts. Daily reminders and working on her behaviors Honesty Challenging but very lovable Worked with special needs kiddos, compassionate, supportive, CPR certified and seizure training required and provided. Behavior de escalation tactics. Emotionally Strong, and a Thrive for knowledge. I will be teaching a lot as we go. Yes We have Quincy Female pit very loving and protective, she usually warms up to new friends quickly. And a fat cat Poe she usually keeps to herself.
