We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our family. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our child who require assistance with daily activities. This position involves working closely with our kid to provide personalized care that promotes his physical, emotional, and social well-being. You will be responsible for assisting with personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication management, and companionship. Furthermore, you will create a safe and supportive environment that encourages independence and dignity. This role requires sensitivity, patience, and a strong commitment to fostering positive relationships with our family. Ideal candidates will possess a genuine desire to help others and experience in a caregiving role, as well as the ability to adapt to various needs and circumstances. The Caregiver will report directly to the family and will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of care is provided consistently. Responsibilities
Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Assist clients in meal preparation and nutrition planning according to their dietary needs.
Administer medication and monitor its usage as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
Support clients in their mobility and daily activities to promote independence.
Engage clients in meaningful conversations and recreational activities to enhance emotional well-being.
Document and report any changes in clients' conditions
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification in caregiving or nursing assistance preferred.
Proven experience in a caregiving role, ideally with individual and family services.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and family members.
Ability to perform tasks requiring physical stamina and strength, including lifting and transferring clients.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in providing support to individuals in need.
Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR; certification is a plus.
Pay is Biweekly
Shift is Monday-Friday 7:30am-5 p.m. (willing work with)
