ISO FT/PT caregiver for a 17-year-old male with CP, Autism, and developmental disabilities. Flexible hours include before/after school and weekends for up to 151 hours per month, paid by DRS at $17. 25/hr (may be able to supplement if necessary). He needs help with all ADLs including g-tube, baths, and getting out of the house without Mom for fun (walks, train station, bowling alley, arcades). Must be able to support a 125 lb young man who walks at home but needs a wheelchair/gait trainer when out. He is nonspeaking, but gets his point across via gestures and an AAC device. He can have big emotions but is also very loving and social and will be very excited to see you each time! He loves Uno, his drum set, his video games, his friends, and being a prankster. We'll be new to the area and are hopeful for a smooth transition. We have one cat.
