About the job
Looking for a part-time caregiver for 26 yr old son with Autism, Developmental Delays, and other mental health issues in Winder. J is very funny and is either full of energy or totally lazy - no in between! He loves shows, tacos, WW2 history, cats, and video games. He has a love /hate relationship with our dog. His friend should be able to help with electronic devices as needed. Caregiver should be able to ignore bad language and negotiate with him as needed to convince him he wants to do simple tasks, such as brushing his teeth, before he gets to go do something fun. His friend will take him out for food, to get some exercise, occasional shopping, and occasional help with pet sitting the family pets. He has state waiver funding which means slow hiring but steady work. Days/times are flexible.
